Why I stopped using the calibrate page
I spent two weeks using the calibration route to iterate on my reasoning approach. Seeing correctness and rationale in real time was useful for understanding item construction — but it was not practice.
The calibrate page removes the uncertainty that makes the real Examination difficult. When you can see whether you are right immediately, you are training pattern recognition, not reasoning under uncertainty. The real Examination gives you nothing between items. That silence is the test.
I returned to the standard Examination route and my scores dropped by 2 points for the first three sessions before recovering and exceeding my calibration-page performance.
The discomfort of not knowing is the faculty being trained. Do not circumvent it.
