My 30-day protocol report — no algorithmic feeds
Day 0: Standing Δ +43. Working Δ +48. Sustained attention subscale: 14th percentile.
The protocol was simple: no algorithmic feeds for 30 days. No TikTok, no Instagram Explore, no YouTube recommendations, no Twitter timeline. I kept messaging apps and email. I replaced the scroll time with physical books and the Society's prescribed Études.
Day 14: The restlessness peaked around day 5–7 and then subsided. By day 14 I could read for 40 minutes without reaching for my phone. My Working Δ was +53.
Day 30: Standing Δ moved to +47 at my monthly Diagnostic. The sustained attention subscale gained 8 percentile points. Working Δ was +55.
The gap between Working Δ and Standing Δ is the endurance deficit. Mine went from 5 to 8 — which means my short-session performance improved faster than my sustained performance. The protocol worked, but the endurance problem is deeper than 30 days.
I am continuing.
